Installing Dexecure onto Magento sites is fairly simple. Follow the steps below:
Dexecure Setup
- Login to Dexecure Dashboard and create a Dexecure domain at https://app.dexecure.com/dashboard.
- Add Go to the website and add the domain you want to optimize.
- Once you add a domain in the dashboard, you would get a Dexecure domain like xxx.cloudfront.net.
Magento Setup
- Next step is to login to your Magento admin panel
- Navigate to Stores>Configuration>Web.
- If your website is delivered over HTTP, then expand the Base URLs. If it is HTTPS then expand the Base URLs (Secure) option.
- Paste the Base Skin URL as https://xxx.cloudfront.net/skin/ where xxx.cloudfront.net is the Dexecure domain you got from the Dexecure stepup step. Remember to add the slash at the end of the URL.
- Paste the Base Media URL as https://xxx.cloudfront.net/media/ where xxx.cloudfront.net is the Dexecure domain you got from the Dexecure setup step. Remember to add the slash at the end of the URL.
- Leave the Base JS URL untouched.
- Once this is done save the configuration.
- That's it! Refresh your site and now the assets will begin to be optimised automatically.
